New chair and clinical lead for Wyre Forest CCG

Dr Marley
Dr Clare Marley has been appointed as Chair and Clinical Lead for NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Qualifying as a GP in 2010, Dr Marley will lead the organisation that is responsible for commissioning a wide range of health services for local people, including hospital, community and mental health services.

Dr Marley has been with the CCG leading on quality since 2012 and more recently working closely on the cancer agenda and sustainability and transformation plan.

The appointment of Dr Marley to the position of Chair and Clinical Lead has been approved by the Local Advisory Forum and NHS England.
Talking about her recent appointment, Dr Marley said: “I feel I have championed quality within the Wyre Forest area for the previous four years’. I want to ensure seamless care for patients of the Wyre Forest in terms of how they access services ensuring patients are at the heart of any new services or models of care.

“I'm excited that I’ve got the opportunity to have a more strategic and transformational role within the CCG.  I’m looking forward to developing key working relationships across the wider health economy as well as using my knowledge and experience of the last four years to offer patients the best healthcare services possible.”
