Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Want to be involved with making a difference to the healthcare services you receive at your GP surgery? You can make a difference by joining your surgery’s Patient Participation Group (PPG). Most surgeries within the Wyre Forest has a PPG group you can join.
PPGs are made up of patients, GPs and other practice staff. Meetings are relaxed and informal. The purpose of each group is to encourage two way communication between patients and GP partners, and act as a sounding board and a “critical friend” for how the practice provides health services to its patients.
PPGs usually meet once a month or bi-monthly. If you would like to get involved in your own surgery’s PPG please contact your practice manager at the GP practice you are registered with.
