Meetings and Groups

Wyre Forest Patients Group is an open to all Wyre Forest Patient Participation Group (PPG) members. The purpose of the group is to learn and share ideas on how best to undertake PPG work. Members of this group are also kept up to date with local and national NHS initiatives, so that this information can be fed back to their individual PPGs.

The group meets quarterly at a venue within the Wyre Forest. The CCG facilitates the meeting for the PPG’s, but the group is independent. For more information and/or to sign up to the Patients Group, please contact the Patient and Public Engagement Manager on 01562 514620 to email

Wyre Forest Advisory Group meets bi-monthly and has been running successfully for past three years. The group consists of representatives from Wyre Forest PPG’s, voluntary and community sector, county and district councillors. There is also representation from the Community Housing Group and Healthwatch Worcestershire.

The agenda is set by the members to allow an open and transparent dialogue between the Advisory Group and the CCG. The group is totally independent and is able to question, give advice and present views and feedback on the role, responsibilities and business activity of the CCG.

This two way communication is proving to be effective and of mutual benefit, and means that the CCG is constantly reminded that it is accountable to patients and the public of Wyre Forest.

For more information, speak to your elected member at your surgery’s PPG group.
