Reducing Loneliness & Isolation Service Survey - Opportunity to give your view - Survey
Worcestershire patients and members of the public are invited to give their views on a new service aimed at reducing loneliness and isolation. Worcestershire County Council’s Public Health Team and the CCG’s Strategy and Integrated Care Team are interested to hear your opinions on loneliness and isolation, so they can ensure local services better meet the needs of Worcestershire residents. The feedback received will help to shape the development of a new service. The survey will be open from 17th June 2019 until 8th July 2019.
Background: Over the past few years, a service to reduce loneliness and isolation for older adults (currently provided by Reconnections), has been available in Worcestershire. This service has been working to help older people overcome chronic loneliness, through supporting individuals to redevelop confidence and re-engage with activities and interests in their local community.
Public Health at Worcestershire County Council and the CCG’s Strategy and Integrated Health Team have been working together to reshape a new service. They are interested to speak with the public to understand their views about loneliness and isolation, so they can ensure the new service better meets the needs of Worcestershire residents.
