Starting in March 2014 Wyre Forest CCG along with participating Wyre Forest GP practices are working together to see how well our GP practices are meeting patient needs.
Wyre Forest Public & Patient Membership Event was held Thursday 20th February at Wyre Forest District Council. This meeting was held for Level’s 2&3 PPI Members to give them insight into what initiatives are currently available in Wyre Forest CCG.
On the 1st April 2014 NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) marked its one-year anniversary. The CCG is responsible for health services in the local area, which includes planning health services, based on assessing the needs of the local community, paying for services that meet the needs of patients and monitoring the quality of the services and care provided to patients.

Welcome to 2015 - one year into the newsletter and still going strong.
With the festive season now upon us, this can be a very busy time of year both at work and at home, meaning it can be very easy to overlook your health and wellbeing.
It has been a busy couple of months since the last newsletter was sent out in December and there have been a few changes to the senior management team. I am delighted to welcome Simon Trickett, our new Chief Officer.
The weather isn’t always as nice as we would like over the summer months, but it’s important that we all stay hydrated, even when the sun isn’t shining this summer.
