Getting Involved

NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is committed to listen. We strive to put the views of local people at the heart of all of our decision making.

As a Wyre Forest patient, carer, resident, volunteer or employee, your views of the healthcare services that we commission on your behalf, is essential. By giving your opinions on what we are getting right, where we need to improve and how we can make positive changes, we able plan, develop and monitor healthcare services more effectively.

You can be involved in different ways, these include on a personal level - making more decisions about how your own health needs are met. You can be involved locally in helping to shape the services provided in your area or you can be involved strategically deciding what services are needed and who should provide them and how.

Ways to be involved:

Patient Participation Groups (PPG)

Speak to your local GP Practice about joining their Patient Participation Group (PPG) to get involved with your local surgery and also be linked into the CCG's Patient’s Group meeting.

Worcestershire Involvement Network

NHS Redditch & Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest and South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCGs) have set up a Worcestershire Wide Involvement Network (WIN) that brings the public voice to the heart of the organisations. The WIN enables patients and the public to work together with us to better understand and help shape local health services.

The aim of the WIN is to give you the opportunity to:

  • Have your say and debate issuesAccess up to date information about your CCGs
  • Help us improve the future local health services
  • Learn more about your areas of interest
